Dan Phelan – Director of Communications, Natural History Museum

It’s my pleasure to share with you the latest episode of the Communicating Purpose podcast with Dan Phelan, Director of Communications at the Natural History Museum.

A seasoned communicator, prior to working at the NHM, Dan served at the BBC for a decade as its Head of Communications and Senior Head of Communications, overseeing the launch of BBC sounds, and the promotion of BBC’s children content. 

Dan  worked as Head of Communications Planning at Which?, and as the Director of Communications at the English National Opera, before joining the British cultural institution, where he now oversees the museum’s many notable campaigns, including its partnership with Amazon Alexa.
