Salary: £20,000-£25,000 depending on experience and performance

We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to join our creative, friendly, and forever growing team, working with a wide range of clients, supporting them with powerful purpose driven public relations, public affairs and campaigns strategies. Higginson Strategy is a UK based agency part founded by Irish citizen Clodagh Higginson, looking to set up our first office in Republic of Ireland. The role will involve delivering campaigns and media strategies on various inspiring client accounts.

The ideal candidate will have agency experience in PR and social media, excellent writing skills and ability to prioritise workload, a keen desire to make an impact in a forward-thinking agency and to make the world a better place!

The role

  • Think and act independently, taking the initiative when appropriate
  • Look after social media accounts
  • Work on a number of different accounts to ensure excellent programme delivery for our clients
  • Develop a detailed understanding of your clients and their operating environments
  • Draft press releases, comment pieces and policy documents
  • Liaise with journalists and parliamentary stakeholders
  • Create monitoring reports


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good research and organisational skills
  • A professional eye for detail
  • Task orientated
  • Agency experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Social media skills and experience would be an advantage
